There are no preferred provider facilities in the State of Alaska
other than those inside the
Municipality of Anchorage. If you are seeking treatment
outside the Municipality of Anchorage, you may use any health care
provider without an out-of-network penalty.
If you travel to the Municipality of Anchorage for services or
your physician sends laboratory specimens to Anchorage for
processing, the preferred provider provisions for the Municipality
of Anchorage will apply.
