Payments
Monthly Pension Payments
Pension checks are
mailed, or credited to your account if you are receiving
direct deposit, on the first day of each month. When you
initially retire, there is usually a one month waiting
period prior to receiving your first check. The
first check will include the monthly pension payment for
the first month and the current month.
Suspending Pension Payments
You may suspend your pension payments by filing a
Suspension of Benefits
form with the Administrative Office. Please contact the
Administrative
Office if you have any question about whether a certain
type of employment after retirement requires the
suspension of your retirement benefits.
Resuming Pension Payments
To resume your monthly pension payments, notify the Administrative Office by
filing a
Revoke
Suspension of
Benefits form.
