Mental Health, Made Simple

Thrive Through Wellness

You don’t have to wait for a crisis to talk to a counselor. In fact, getting support for life’s smaller struggles— like stress at work, relationship tension, or low self-esteem—can make a big difference. Talking to a therapist can help you feel more in control, improve your emotional resilience, and prevent future mental health challenges, like depression, stress, and anxiety.

■ Teladoc offers confidential, convenient access to professional counselors (online or by phone), to participants 13 years and older. There is no cost to you. To schedule an appointment, go to teladochealth.com, download the app, or call (800) TELADOC (835-2362).

■ Your Health Plan covers outpatient mental health services (in-person or virtual), just like any other health care service. (A provider in the Aetna network may save you money. Search for one under Health and Welfare, Find a Provider. Click on Aetna Choice® POS II OPEN Access then register and/or sign in to your account for the best results.)

■ AETF offers eligible participants up to five free, confidential sessions (face-to-face or virtual) with a qualified clinical expert through the First Choice Health Employee Assistance Plan.
